| The International
Exhibitionist is an artist’s initiative. It's an open proposal,
a platform where each invited artist has a direct input in the work their
are showing. The event is 1 hour long and takes place in a cinema auditorium.
It usually presents 9 artists per programme, depending on the duration
of the work.
Once invited to take part in the IE, the artists have the choice of the work they want to exhibit in the programme. They are not restricted to any medium (works can be 35mm, 16mm, video, sound, still frame, slide show, performance, mix of different medium...). They only have to work with the idea in mind that the programme takes place in a cinema auditorium and that their contribution can be up to 9 minutes long maximum, but can also be shorter. The full programme is one hour long and plays only for one evening. |
